old closed cs2d crashes at start

well iextracted all the files from cs2d then i opened up teh game and a black box opened than closed somebady help me

no, you don't need hl or cs to play cs2d.

Here are some steps you might try (copied from the FAQ at cs2d.com):
> Download CS2D again (Maybe your download was damaged)
> Extract it completly to one dir (WinRAR recommended)
> Check your DirectX/Direct3D and install the latest version
> Install the latest or older drivers for your graphics card Please notice, that you need a 3D graphics card which supports Direct3D and Windows 95/98/ME or XP to run CS2D!

You can also try to run it in the windowed mode by starting "CS2D -windowed.bat" - maybe this works

Having the same prob
Cant get a shot of the error the boxes close to fast and have tried deleting a re-extracting. Just opens a black window for about a second and then closes.
